Description
The 600mm shelf support bar is used to reinforce timber shelf panels in compact Longspan bays. Installed front-to-back between beams, these bars ensure a flatter, stronger shelf — especially important for UDL performance and longevity.
Why use a shelf support bar?
✅ Increases load performance for short but deep shelves
✅ Reduces centre sag and bowing of MDF or chipboard
✅ Drop-in install – Sits right between the beams
✅ Highly recommended for 600mm shelves carrying medium to high weight
